Terms and Conditions

Text can be any length, any style, and any genre. Pricing is the same for fiction, poetry, non-fiction, screenplays, and all other types of writing.

Text must be supplied in either Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF format. Line-edit margin notes will be added digitally.

Text does not have to be a complete piece and edits can be sought on extracts or in a staggered manner of an overall piece on separate occasions over time. All line-edits and critique will be based solely on the supplied text.

Prices are calculated including overrun to the next 1,000 words, with a minimum of 1,000 words. For example, a line-edit of a novel of 82,103 words would be priced at £2,490 based on a total billable word-count of 83,000 words.

Prices are in GBP and are non-negotiable. Payments from a non-GBP currency must be exchanged by the purchaser at their cost.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total balance is required to secure the workload, with the remaining 50% due upon completion.

Payment is accepted through PayPal or Stripe only.

Turnaround time is calculated based upon word-count and workload, however as a rough guide turnaround times are approximately one week per 10,000 words following any initial lead time, though this cannot be guaranteed. A turnaround estimate will be provided upon acceptance which will account for lead time, with updates sent if there is a change to the estimate.

Length of written critique will vary depending on the word count and issues raised.

Enquiry does not guarantee acceptance.
